Kathleen (“Katie”) McGinty is a member of our Board of Directors. Katie is Chief Sustainability, Government Affairs and External Relations Officer for Johnson Controls (NYSE: JCI). Earlier, Katie was the Senior Vice President, Oceans at the Environmental Defense Fund. She was a candidate for U.S. Senate from Pennsylvania in 2016 and winner of the Democratic primary campaign. During her career she has served as Chair of the Pennsylvania Energy Department Authority and as the Pennsylvania Secretary of Environmental Protection. She was Chair of the White House Council on Environmental Quality and Deputy Assistant to the President from 1993 to 1998. She serves on the board of directors of multiple not-for-profit entities.
