Our Team

Brendan McGovern is a member of our Board of Directors.  Brendan is currently a Partner and co-founder of an alternative asset management platform.   Previously, Brendan spent 15 years at Goldman, Sachs & Co., where he was a Partner and the Head of the Private Credit Group of Goldman Sachs Asset Management, a team of investment professionals managing over $10 billion of capital focused on making loans to U.S. middle market companies.  Brendan was also Co-Head of Credit Alternatives at Goldman Sachs Asset Management and Chief Executive Officer of Goldman Sachs BDC, Inc. (NYSE: GSBD).  Brendan is also on the board of directors of the Oxalosis and Hyperoxaluria Foundation.

Fiona Macdonald is a member of our Board of Directors. Prior to her retirement in 2014, Fiona served as Managing Director, Executive Compensation for Willis Towers Watson in both the US and Canada. Earlier, Fiona held various leadership positions with William Mercer, part of Marsh McLellan. She also serves as a member of the board of directors of the Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver, the Greater Vancouver Food Bank and the Royal Canadian Mint.

Kathleen (“Katie”) McGinty is a member of our Board of Directors. Katie is Chief Sustainability, Government Affairs and External Relations Officer for Johnson Controls (NYSE: JCI). Earlier, Katie was the Senior Vice President, Oceans at the Environmental Defense Fund. She was a candidate for U.S. Senate from Pennsylvania in 2016 and winner of the Democratic primary campaign. During her career she has served as Chair of the Pennsylvania Energy Department Authority and as the Pennsylvania Secretary of Environmental Protection. She was Chair of the White House Council on Environmental Quality and Deputy Assistant to the President from 1993 to 1998. She serves on the board of directors of multiple not-for-profit entities.

Lorie is a member of our Board of Directors. Lorie is an Operating Advisor on the Goldman Sachs Value Accelerator Platform and focuses on advising C-suite executives on digital and data transformation. She previously served as Chief Development Officer of The Coca-Cola Company (NYSE: KO). Earlier, she was CIO and Senior Vice President of Avaya Corporation (NYSE: AVYA) and before that she was CIO and Senior Vice President of Visteon Corporation (NYSE: VC). She is the founder of One Planet Life, a social enterprise dedicated to leveraging technology to create a personalized smart world that improves lives and sustains the planet.

J. William (“Bill”) Holden, III is a member of our Board of Directors. Bill is Executive Vice President and Senior Advisor at the Taffrail Group, a strategic advisory firm. He previously served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Vistra Corp. (NYSE: VST). Earlier, Mr. Holden served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Genon Energy, Inc. and its predecessor, Mirant Corporation. He currently serves on the board of directors of Breakthrough Atlanta (a not-for-profit entity).

David Gadis is a member of our Board of Directors. David is Chief Executive Officer and General Manager of DC Water, one of the largest water utilities in the United States. Previously, David served as Chief Executive Officer and President of Veolia Water Indianapolis, a subsidiary of Veolia Group (listed on Paris Euronext: VIE). He is chairman of the board of Blue Drop, DC Water’s nonprofit sales and marketing affiliate. David has also served as the Vice President of Revenue for USA Track & Field.

Janice Case is a member of our Board of Directors. She is currently an independent director and trustee of the Thrivent Mutual Funds and sits on the Whitefish Community Foundation board. She worked at Florida Power Corporation, a subsidiary of Florida Progress Corporation, for nearly 25 years, overseeing the company’s 1.3 million residential, commercial, and industrial customers. She previously served as an independent trustee for the North American Electric Reliability Corporation. Additionally, she chaired the Cadence Network, Inc. board and served on the boards of Central Vermont Public Service Inc., Western Electricity Coordinating Council, and Aegon/Transamerica Mutual and Series Funds.

Tim Leach is the Chair of our Board of Directors. From 2008 until his retirement in 2016, Tim served as chief investment officer of US Bank Wealth Management. During his career, Mr. Leach held senior management positions with U.S. Trust Company and various investment advisers and asset managers, including Wells Fargo Private Investment Advisors, Wells Fargo Alternative Asset Management, ABN Amro Global Asset Management, ABN Amro Asset Management (USA) and Qualivest Capital Management. He currently serves as chair of the board of Habitat for Humanity of Sonoma County.
