Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Manager, FP&A to support our Renewable Energy Portfolio Operations & Maintenance (O&M) Business Unit. This role plays a critical part in guiding the financial and strategic direction of the unit, which oversees the financial performance of 3 GW of solar and storage assets.
As the Senior Manager, FP&A, you will:
- Lead financial processes, controls, and reporting systems for the business unit, ensuring alignment with company-wide FP&A standards, with a specific focus on the financial health of the O&M segment.
- Develop and maintain robust, adaptable financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and long-term planning, including detailed models for solar and storage assets.
- Oversee preparation of the annual financial plan and quarterly forecasts for the O&M business; analyze variances, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations.
- Partner with business unit leaders to deliver accurate and timely financial and operational reporting for our solar and storage maintenance teams.
- Collaborate with other FP&A teams to share best practices and maintain consistency across the organization.
- Present financial insights and recommendations to senior management and support strategic initiatives. This includes specific insights into our solar and storage assets and workforce.
Our ideal candidate will have:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA a plus.
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive FP&A experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role.
- Experience in 3rd Party O&M, Manufacturing or Renewable Energy industries is highly desired.
- Strong financial modeling skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Experience with Oracle and Salesforce is a plus. Advanced Excel and PowerPoint is required.
- Demonstrated success in process improvement and the implementation of new financial systems or procedures
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
